How to get in touch

From a tradesperson’s profile, use their listed contact details to reach out. When you do, it helps to have ready:

What the job is — a clear description, and photos if you have them.
Where it is — your postcode or address.
When you need it — the dates you saw as available.
Any access details — parking, gate codes, best times to visit.

Confirm the details

Availability on BizzyDay is a great starting point, but always confirm directly before you count on a date:

Double-check the tradesperson is still free for your exact dates.
Agree what’s included and the price (or that they’ll quote first).
Ask whether they’ll do a pre-quote visit for bigger jobs.

Getting a quote

For anything beyond a small job, expect the tradesperson to send a quote first. If they use BizzyDay’s tools, you may receive a tidy, itemised quote you can review — and later, an invoice. You might also be asked to sign to accept a quote or confirm a job; see Signing documents.
