Signing documents

Some tradespeople will ask you to sign to accept a quote or confirm a job. BizzyDay makes this quick and paperless — and you don’t need an account to do it.

  • A quote — to accept the price and scope before work starts.
  • A job confirmation — agreeing the details of the work.
  • A completion sign-off — confirming the work is done to your satisfaction.
  1. The tradesperson sends you a link (by message or email).
  2. Open it on your phone or computer — it shows the document to review.
  3. Read it over. Check the scope, price and dates are what you agreed.
  4. Sign with your finger or mouse in the signature box.
  5. Submit — both you and the tradesperson get a record of the signed document.

  • The link is unique to your document — only someone with it can open it.
  • You’re only ever signing the specific document shown — nothing else.
  • You get a copy of what you signed, so there’s a clear record for both sides.

Signing accepts what’s in front of you, so take a moment to check:

  • The price and what it includes (and excludes).
  • The dates for the work.
  • Anything you discussed that should be written down — if it’s missing, ask before signing.
